On July 13^th, Mr. Chen Xiaohong, the Vice Minister of MOH, has awarded the letter of appointment to Professor Peter Bermanfor beingthe CHEIChief Consultant in Health Financing.

Professor Peter Berman is a well-known health economist, who has 30 years of experience in fields of global health research, policy analyze and exploration, training and education. His researches include health system performance analysis and reform strategy deigns, performance evaluation of provider services, improving health quality with cooperation of public and private and how to apply national health accounts as a planning and decision-making tool,etc. Professor Peter Berman has been involved with health reform researches in a lot of countries, including Egypt, India, Colombia, Indonesia and Poland.
