On April 17, 2009 CHEI hosted a half-day seminar in the Conference Centre of the Peking University Health Science Centre. Prof. Erin Tjam and Bruce from University of Waterloo, Canada, were invited to give a lecture on interRAI comprehensive assessment tools. The seminar was presided by Prof. Zhang Zhenzhong, Director-general of CHEI, and participated by over 40 people, including CHEI researchers and officials from the departments of MOH, such as Department of Finance and Planning, Department of Rural Health Management, Department of Healthcare Service Management and Department of Maternal and Child Health and Community Health. The attendees took great interest in the inteRAI tools’ application in aged care and long-term care. The attendees  raised many questions after the lecture. Prof. Tjam and Bruce answered the questions one by one.
