Health Economics Information Research Office is one of the functional departments of the National Health Economics Institute (short for NHEI). Its main jobs include health intelligence research, health information resources management, literature and information service, and information technical support service for NHEI.

      Health Economics Information Research Office consists of three subordinate research groups: Health Economics Information and Statistical Data Analysis Research Group, Computer Information and Technology Service Research Group and Digital Library Research Group.

Ⅰ, main contents:

      1, Health Economics Information and Statistical Data Analysis Research Group

      Its main work includes tracking the information sources in the field of health economics and policy, promptly collecting the dynamic information on health economics and policy research from home and abroad, integrating the literature information resources of national and foreign health policies so as to continuously enrich the collection volume of library resource, establishing the literature and information center of national health economics and policy, meanwhile, constructing and maintaining the special literature and other database in the field of health economics and policy, analyzing and disposing health economics data, conducting information analysis research on health economics policy, and editing and publishing the dynamic briefing on development of health economics policy scientific research.

      2, Computer Information and Technology Service Research Group

Its work mostly includes researching on informationization, relevant technology, information standardization, and coding in the field of health economics and policy, maintaining normal operation of the networks of NHEI, and providing technical support for all the information systems of NHEI.

      3, Health Economics Digital Library Research Group

Its main work includes constructing, maintaining, and improving the NHEI digital library in a continuous way, providing various forms of literature information services for the researchers and policy makers by the digital library and modern IT methods, such as loan documentation, on-line browsing, information retrieval, the original transmission, subject investigation, the citation retrieval of paper, training readers in the use of information resources, and making the guidelines of various resources, for helping readers make better use of the information resources.
